THIRTY-SEVENTH DAY

THE DISPOSAL OF THESE WRITINGS

Spirit loq. We work in many bands, and those of us who work to bring faith in spiritual life on Earth, work in many ways according to the consciousness and receptivity of those through whom we work.

            (In answer to a question.)

No man seeks truly without result and faith-strengthening in this work. Your mind tells you that there is something other than superstition in what you have written. We cannot well impress your mind now, because it is filled with other interests more than it was. God is not far from you, but you are far from God, and you cannot see the light. You must relieve the mind of these earthly cares, and be free again. You must live by faith when you cannot behold us through these clouds.

Write out in a book all we have given you. It matters truly not whether you withdraw that which is personal, only write it and lend it to all whom it may interest.

We do not work amid excitement. We can work far better when your thoughts are calm, and when your mind is attuned to high and holy thoughts, which is not the case now.

This Society (1) you think of, is another link in the chain, another step in the ladder, which unites us to Earth. Join it by all means, and give what we have written into its hands.

This Society will depend on its management, and on the faithfulness and enthusiasm of those who join it. It

is hoped by us that it shall work through the many existing Churches, and give them that which they have lost sight of, that there may be a continuous outpouring of spiritual life and truth into the channels hewn by the ages, which are well nigh dry.
