Ouseley (March 1904), with an appendix by Samuel H. Hart, <a href=\"https:\/\/annakingsford.com\/english\/Other_Related_Works\/Texts\/OOR-I-HartMemoOu.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>\u201cIn Memory of the Rev. G.J.R. Ouseley\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, written in 1952. This Fifth Edition dates from 1954.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Information:<\/strong> <\/em><span lang=\"EN-US\">This is the most well known book that was written by the Rev. Ouseley. In his \u201c<i>Explanatory Preface<\/i>\u201d we find the following passage, which gives us an idea about the decisive importance attributed by the Rev. Ouseley to Anna Kingsford and Edward Maitland in connection with this book:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 36px;\" align=\"justify\"><em><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cIn this community (Essenians) Jesus, and His cousin John were brought up from childhood (\u2026) Their \u201cGospel of the Holy Twelve\u201d was communicated to the Editor, in numerous fragments at different times, by Emmanuel Swedenborg, Anna Kingsford, Edward Maitland, and a priest of a former century, giving his name as Placidus, of the Franciscan Order.
