Anna Kingsfords Last Home

A Quotation on Anna Kingsford's Last Home:

Travelling by short stages, we reached London without mishap, saving only a detention for four days at Boulogne, through stress of weather, on July 13, and at once took up our abode at 15 Wynnstay Gardens, of which she had taken over the furniture with the lease, so that we were able at once to take possession. Her own maid was already there, and we were speedily joined by A. (Algernon), who from that time forth passed with her as much of his time as could be spared from his clerical duties  (p. 322).
